The wonderful statuette of St. George on reliquary housed in the Residenz Munich in Germany. 📷

This statuette standing tall at 50 centimetres was commissioned by the Duke Wilhelm V of Bavaria and crafted between 1586 -1597. The beautiful statuette was crafted to house a relic of St. George given by the brother of the Duke, Archbishop Ernst of Cologne.
