Mount Fuji experienced its first snowless October in 130 years.

As of October 29, the Japan Meteorological Agency has yet to confirm any snowfall on Fuji’s 12,389-feet (3,776-meter) summit, shattering the previous record of October 26, set in both 1955 and 2016.
