Kirbuster Farm is now a museum but was once the home of an Orcadian (Orkney) farming family and served as such from around the late 1500s to the 1960s, and the main ‘firehoose’ seen in this video remained unchanged, maintaining its central hearth and bed ‘neuk’ in the wall.
